  • Measuring spoons
  • Airtight Spice Jar

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp White Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Hot Pepper Flakes

Optional to Make This a Rub

  • 1 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt

Instructions

Measure the Spices

  • Add all ingredients to a small bowl.

Mix Thoroughly

  • Stir until evenly combined and no clumps remain.

Store the Blend

  • Transfer to an airtight container. Keep in a cool, dark place.
    Cajun seasoning in airtight container

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne and hot pepper flakes to control heat
  • Adding salt to the spice blend will turn it into a rub 
  • Add smoked paprika for a deeper flavour
  • This blend will season 2.5lbs of Meat
