Welcome to Cooking 360 with Kevin Bouchard, a space built for home cooks who want real food, bold flavour, and recipes that actually work in a home kitchen.

Cooking 360 is about seeing food from every angle – ingredients, technique, time, and practicality – without cutting corners or relying on shortcuts. No pre-mix seasoning packets. No bottled sauces pretending to be homemade. Just honest cooking, done well.


How It Started

My cooking journey didn’t begin in a restaurant kitchen. It started the same way it does for a lot of home cooks – learning recipes that made everyday life easier. The Instant Pot was my entry point, helping me understand flavours, timing, and efficiency while still cooking from scratch.

The real turning point came when I trained as an Artisanal Butcher. That experience changed how I approach food completely – from understanding cuts of meat and seasoning properly, to respecting ingredients and building flavour the right way.


What I Cook (and Why)

At Cooking 360, you’ll find a wide range of recipes, including:

  • Sauces, pickles, and condiments
  • Spice blends made from scratch
  • Everyday meals with bold flavour
  • The occasional “fancy” dish when time allows

My rule is simple: if you can make it yourself, you should know how. That’s why you won’t find pre-mixed seasonings or store-bought sauces here. I focus on teaching the building blocks so you can cook confidently, not just follow recipes.


My Cooking Philosophy

I believe simple is best, but that doesn’t mean boring. Great food comes from good ingredients, solid technique, and understanding when to keep things easy and when to slow down and make something special.

Fancy food is achievable at home. It just takes time, patience, and knowing where to focus your effort.


A Little More About Me

I’m based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where my love for cooking extends beyond the kitchen. When I’m not developing recipes, I spend time restoring and seasoning cast-iron cookware, bringing old pans back to life and putting them back where they belong: on the stove. You can purchase my Seasoned Cast Iron Conditioner in my Etsy shop, currently we are only shipping within Canada.

My patio is where a lot of the ideas come together. It’s where I cook, experiment, and reset and it’s a big reason I keep creating.
