Mango Pineapple Reaper Jalapeño Hot Sauce

The name says it all, sweet fruit with hot peppers combine to make the most amazing hot sauce.

Equipment

  • 1 Heavy Bottom Pot with tall sides and lid
  • 1 Mixing Spoon
  • 1 Immersion or Vitamix Style Blender Using an Immersion Blender will make it a little more chunky.
  • Jars or Glass Bottles

Ingredients

  • 1 Tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Mango Diced
  • 1 Pineapple Diced
  • 2-3 Reaper Peppers
  • 2 Jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup Yellow Onion Diced
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Roughly Chopped
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup White Vinegar
  • 1 Juice of Lime
  • 3 tbsp Cilantro Roughly Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  • Heath olive oil and sauté all the fruits and vegetables for 5 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for 20 minutes
  • Use an Immersion Blender or Regular Blender to combine all the ingredients until smooth.
  • Strain with a mesh strainer into jars or glass bottles, dating them and listing ingredients.
  • Store in Refrigerator and use within 6 Months
